At Supports In Sync, we bring decades of expertise and lived experience to provide exceptional support for people with high medical and complex care needs.
Our team is led by highly skilled clinical nurses who deliver advanced medical support and oversee the care we provide. Their expertise is complemented by experienced professionals, including former Local Area Coordinators, Support Workers, Psychosocial Recovery Coaches, and parents of children with disability. Together, we create a trusted, compassionate, and professional service.
We’re committed to cultural respect and inclusivity. With a Director from the CALD community, supporting culturally and linguistically diverse people is at the heart of what we do. Our goal is to ensure every person receives the specialised care they need to live with dignity, safety, and quality of life.
Meet The Supports In Sync Team
Registered Nurse
A highly experienced Registered Nurse with an extensive background in diverse settings, including the Intensive Care Unit at Hollywood Private Hospital. Bishnu brings a wealth of knowledge and clinical skills to our community. Her background spans medical, surgical, oncology, emergency, and intensive care settings since 2005, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to high-quality care.
Bishnu is proficient in a range of essential clinical practices, from direct patient care and medication management to specialised procedures like Peg and NG feeds, tracheostomy care, and managing seizures. Known for her strong clinical judgment and ability to lead, Bishnu enhances our team's capacity to deliver personalised, empathetic NDIS community nursing to every person we support.
Bishnu speaks Nepali, Hindi and English.
Psychosocial Recovery Coach
With a lifelong interest in consciousness, behaviour, and how we experience life, Carsten has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds to help them overcome challenges such as depression, addiction, trauma, and anxiety.
Carsten’s extensive research and clinical training, combined with his attendance of workshops and seminars, have equipped him with a range of philosophies and therapies to provide personalized support to each of his clients. He is highly keen on helping NDIS participants achieve their recovery goals and improve their quality of life.
Carsten speaks Danish, Norwegian and English. Carsten understands Swedish and some German.
Managing Director
As a former Local Area Coordinator (LAC), Bhuwan has substantial experience working with people living with disabilities and can bring a valuable perspective to the organisation. Bhuwan founded Supports in Sync by a profound commitment to enhancing disability services through NDIS expertise and a dedication to cultural diversity.
Bhuwan is also a Principal Trainer, he leveraged his skills to empower others, ensuring that knowledge translates into meaningful support for those in need. At the core of his mission lies the goal to create a more inclusive society, utilizing his proficiency in multiple languages and understanding of diverse communities to make a tangible difference in the lives of many.
Bhuwan speaks Nepali, Hindi and English.
SIL Coordinator
A compassionate and empathic person who goes above and beyond to support people living with disabilities. Sunee has a background in accounting, hospitality, customer service, and the disability sector. She is dedicated to making a positive impact on people’s lives by fostering their independence and guiding them to reach their full potential.
Sunee earned her Diploma of Community Services in 2010 and began working in disability as a support worker in 2018. Sunee possesses strong work ethics, exceptional customer service, and a person-centered approach.
Sunee speaks Nepali, Hindi and English.
