If you need to find a home away from home for a while, Supports In Sync can help you find your ideal little haven. Leaving the familiarity of your home surroundings or being in a period of transition can be quite stressful, so we make it so much easier by finding you suitable accommodation to match your needs.

Our friendly team will source suitable properties from our network and pair you with a support worker for Supported Independent Living (SIL) services for the duration of your stay.

Respite

If your carer is going to be away for a few days, or if your family is going on vacation, make good use of our respite accommodation. This support is also available to you if you just want to try something new, experience a little independence and enjoy a change of scenery. The NDIS will fund respite care for up to 14 days at a time, and this usually covers the cost of your stay as well as support needed during that period.

Our respite accommodation across Perth caters to a wide range of needs including high-care. We will also arrange fun activities for you to partake in either with a group or on your own. Nutritious meals are prepared for you daily and you will have a caring support worker with you throughout your stay.

STA

STA refers to Short-Term Accommodation, which the NDIS provides to participants who need supported accommodation for a period longer than two weeks. Similar to respite, STA can be used when your carer is away or when you need to stay out-of-home for a slightly longer period of time for any other reason.

Supports In Sync will find a temporary home just for you and we’ll make sure it’s somewhere you can feel safe and well taken care of for the period of your stay with us. We will also gladly match you with a support worker who is able to tend to your personal requirements, from standard to high intensity care needs.

MTA

For Medium-Term Accommodation in Perth, the Supports In Sync team will have you settled in a cosy place for as long as you need. You will find this support in your NDIS plan under core supports. It is most commonly used when participants are ready to be discharged from hospital but are waiting for a disability accommodation vacancy, or while they are waiting for home modifications or a new-build specialist disability accommodation.

We will set you up in suitable medium-term accommodation until your permanent residence becomes available. Enjoy high care or basic care, experienced support workers and a home that’s designed for your abilities and your comfort while you stay with us.
